While the development of the painting series also the song "She's like the wind" from the soundtrack of Dirty Dancing sung by Patrick Swazye captured the mood of the paintings and influenced them. It's contants are about what is hidden and what we ran from and simultanuously looking for, for things that might remain unfulfilled. Kind of search for what can not really be described and captured with words, where the obviously visible and invisible are just the catalyzer for a deeper longing. |
